This category consists of a number of Ethernet to Serial converters which allow Serial devices (RS232 / RS485 / RS422) to be connected to a standard LAN. This greatly reduces the requirement for extra cabling and serial ports on the host system. Using software supplied each serial output port from these devices is mapped to a standard COMM port number making integration very simple.

Various modules are available which allow connection of upto 8 Serial devices to a single converter module.
