ZigBee is a specification based on the IEEE 802.15.4 standard for wireless personal area networks (WPANs). ZigBee operates in the ISM radio bands and its focus is to define a general purpose inexpensive, self-organising, mesh network that can be used for a wide variety of applications.

The ZB-2053 Unit provides eight Isolated Digital Input Channels, which can also be configured as 16-bit counters.

Important Note : The ZigBee DIO modules need a ZB-2570 to coordinate the data transmission route, so please remember to also order a ZB-2570 ZigBee Host Modem when you purchase the ZB DIO products.
